Yes, under Trump’s zero-tolerance policy, you will be arrested if you are caught crossing the border. America used to give those seeking asylum the benefit of the doubt. I don’t consider that a crisis.

I will not debate the merits of building a wall.

I also am not outraged by the courage of a parent who is forced into the choice of dying from domestic abuse/gang violence at home or dying on a journey that might lead to a better life in a country that, until recently, was a place of refuge and safety.
